Hello Members and friends!
The past few months have been busy ones for your executives as we’ve been working to get you better work conditions. Unfortunately, ours was the only local that did not reach the numbers for a strike mandate. We accept responsibility in this and believe that although there were many factors involved, a large one was that you were not given enough information to make an informed vote. We would like to fix this by offering three information sessions.
These meetings will offer you a chance to hear what has happened at bargaining so far, and to ask any questions that we may not have covered.
Here’s where you come in. We can give all the information in the world, but it won’t do any good if you’re not there to hear it. Please get involved and show your support by attending one (or more) of these sessions.
