It has been a busy week with CUPE , our conciliation ended last Tuesday and we signed off on all our remaining local issues. So our local bargaining is completed, and we are waiting for 5 other locals to complete there final ( day 13) meetings. The government has been pushing our last day conciliations passed Oct 19th so Council has decided to push back our day of labour action to OCTOBER 26TH. This will give us more time to prepare our local for job action and get you our members informed. Our team Sherry Murphy , Leeanna May Oleary, Emily Arsenault and Angela Chillman will be sending messages out by email , or here and thru our Cupe web site.
