Voting Email Release – Please Vote

A second email will be sent for voting for those who have not yet voted. If you don’t receive an email to your personal email please contact an executive member.

We need your votes, we need to go to the bargaining table and say the members will not accept the current offer for wages that has been offered to other locals.

The current wage proposal shared with some of our locals is 2% the first 2 years and 1.25% for 1 or 2 more years depending on the length of the new contract. This is unjustified in our economic environment a Janitor will see a raise of only $1.34 in 4 year contract. Please share the word and vote.

Strike Vote

Members our strike vote email will be sent out today, June 9th 8:00 am and will run till June 17th. If you don’t see the email CUPE 3876 Strike Mandate 2026. Please check your junk mail box or spam. Members we will be sending out a text message on SMS and emails regarding our upcoming strike vote. We may also be setting up a 1 day polling station. As locals have reached an impasse and have filled for conciliation your willingness to say yes will show that if we don’t get a decent wage settlement, we will use labour action to achieve our goals.
